SAMSUNG Galaxy A53 5G A Series Smartphone
Top Positive Review
We bought a new phone for our son with the protection plan. Six months later, the motherboard malfunctioned. I submitted the claim. Asurion sent us to UBreakIFix to have the phone evaluated, where it was determined the motherboard was bad. They submitted the information to Asurion, and we had the egift card reimbursement the following day. Asurion was courteous and quick with responses and payment.
Top Critical Review
“Repair or replace” is not true
Asurion been sitting on my claim for weeks and advised they do not have phones and will issue an e gift card. The waiting for weeks is frustrating. They have my money they have my phone they are totally tone deaf.

Is the a53 5g gsm or cdma?
Answer: I have an A42 5G, but I don’t think it matters. GSM or CDMA refers to 3G and below. If you get it unlocked it will take a SIM card from either type of provider, say Verizon (CDMA) or T-mobile (GSM). Either this phone works with either 3G standard or won’t work on 3G at all. Not sure about that.
