We purchased a one touch phone for my elderly, blind mother. It stopped working four months after purchase which was one month after the Amazon return deadline. ???? This was the second unit we had purchased that had stopped working after a short period of time. Very grateful we had the asurion protection on the second purchase. They quickly sent a email with a return label. UPS did the boxing for us. Very easy to return.
One thing I didn??t know when I purchased the policy is that it is a gift card to Amazon not a return of the money and you don??t get back your sales tax paid. But still a great value.

Here’s what they do. You pay the little $10. Most products have a warranty so they pass you back to the company when you have a problem during that time. In the case of a longer warranty, a lot of people will forget they even have it (and most people will never have a claim, just like all insurance policies). Many people are buying the protection for products that this insurance company doesn’t even cover Like Avantree. I bought a speaker. I bought the insurance that was marketed to me when I purchased the speaker. Their insurance doesn’t even cover Aventree speakers. They only cover one Avantree product. For $10, most people are not even going to go to the trouble to complain. It’s not much money, but those little $10 fees for policies people are buying when they buy thousands and thousands of electronic products on Amazon, add up. It’s a sweet little swindle that only an insurance company could think up.

Does the base phone has battery back up?
Answer: Each phone has two Ni-Mh batteries in them, but the base – like all the other bases – plugs into a wall outlet. If the power goes out, the phones will retain all settings and information – as long as the phone (batteries) are charged in their base.

I need a spliter adaptor for my phone line and the printer but the standard splitter is too wide for the panasonic kx-tgd533w that i bought. any sugge
Answer: Just a thought …….buy a telephone 2 female 1 male wall splitter and install male at wall jack then one line to printer and one to base unit. Should work out!
