Asurion provided an excellent service here. I opted to file a claim over the phone. They asked a few questions , and determined that my case was covered. They sent a return label which I used to pack and ship out the defective item. Within two days I received my ??refund?? in order to purchase a replacement. The process was simple and it worked.

caution: I purchased the item and included an Asurion plan. When I attempted to file a claim online, the item was not showing up. Don??t be discouraged, make a phone call instead and they????ll be able to find your item.

We bought this “protection” for our phone and after about two months the phone quit working. Asurion’s policy to give us a full refund is unfair because we bought a four year plan and now it’s no longer valid, after only two months! We should have either had it repaired or replaced at no charge – the way this works is we lose out on $22 – and if we buy a new phone with the refunded money, we aren’t protected. I won’t get Asurion “protection” ever again!

Why isn’t the actual phone part red like the rest of the phone??? am i missing something?!
Answer: I bought this item in black and all of the parts are black. I would think that all of your parts should therefore be red. My suggestion would be to contact Crosley to see if they incorrectly packed the black part with the red phone.

What should I use to help secure it to the wall better? It is lopsided only using the screw in the wall plate.
Answer: The two holes in the back of the phone fit directly onto the two screws on the wall outlets. You shouldn??t have to be do anything but attach it to your existing outlet and it??ll be sturdy.

Can pulse mode be switched to tone with the asterisk button or only with the switch on back of phone?
Answer: it has a switch on the back. we really enjoy ours, we put it next to the bar in the family room.

Will it hang well on drywall?
Answer: Yes it has very well make sure to use wall anchors we have to Crosley phones on drywall with no problem
