If I could give more stars I would. I??ll start by saying I??m an older tech junkie who researches like crazy before buying anything but all too often is disappointed with having less of an experience than most others who seem to love their experience. I??ve been thru many cordless phones in my time and in recent years struggle to find something that looks, feels, and works well in addition to offering all the bells and whistles I need. This is it! It??s inly been a few days but nice feel tot he handset, large easy to read display, excellent sound quality, excellent battery performance, and smart intuitive layout of buttons and functionality. I??ve found my forever phone (for as long as it lasts). I was not asked to write this review. I??m just among those who as a research fanatic want to extend real reviews to those looking for honest reviews.

I bought the phone ‘new’, but when I received the box, it had obviously already been opened. Parts had mostly been repacked in the product box, but obviously not with the care of an original product. Bags were half-on a few of the parts. There was protective plastic on the screen surfaces, but it was the wrong size, and non-professionally applied – lots of bubbles, and creases. The manual had several pages that were folded over.

That was clearly a bad sign, and might have been enough to return the product as adulterated. But, when I tried to power-up the base station, it did not work. Clearly this unit had been handled, and repackaged and resold as ‘new’ – but was defective.
