We spent a long time looking for a cordless phone that would be easy for my elderly mother-in-law to use, and this is by far the best option we’ve been able to find. The numbers are far larger than those on other cordless phones, and the answering machine is very simple to use with large button and just a few basic options.

I’ll keep it until the little irritations drive me completely nuts. The Headline names two things I don’t like. Another is the “Quiet” button feature. If you don’t want to answer and don’t want to hear it ring, hit the “Quiet” button. Okay, but you have to pick up the handset to activate the “Quiet” button. Hmmm? Why bother? Anyway, I’ll use it but I wouldn’t buy it now.

When you are away form this phone can you access your messages from the answering machine remotely
Answer: snaus – Yes indeedy! You dial your home phone#, then enter your remote access code whilst the greeting is playing. Easy peasy!

I got this phone and the base died i am getting it again will the previous phone work with it?
Answer: kzolady – If you are buying the same model, the “old” handset can be registered to the new base; however, it will have to be manually deregistered first. Call tech support @ 1-800-222-3111 for assistance.
